The head office is located at 44 Martin Place, Sydney, in the heart of the central business district of Sydney, and very near to the Supreme Court of NSW and Federal Court of Australia, barristers’ chambers and the head offices of many of the firm’s clients. There are two smaller offices recently opened, one in Brisbane CBD and the other in Canberra CBD.
Competition
The legal
market is very competitive. There are many major law firms operating in Australia
that HDY competes with. Some are firms that only operate in Sydney, others
have offices in cities around Australia and some are international. HDY
competes with large and smaller firms. The level of competition means that HDY
must constantly find new, better, more efficient and differentiated ways to
provide services to their clients, and also attract and retain the best
staff.
